I went there for my first time. It was my granddaughters 2nd birthday party. There was a little gift shop we looked around. A very nice place. The lady was very nice. And was very clean. I would go there again. And I told people all about it.
The disc golf course is wicked fun! Had a bit of trouble finding a couple tee pads, but udisc will bring you to them. Only played the front 9, so I'll be back to play all 18 soon. 10/10
Great place for a spiritual retreat. Small Conference center, not sure how many, may be around 60 or slightly more. Guest rooms available on site, very handicap accessible.
Great place for a retreat, especially a Christian one. There are spaces for prayer. Even can schedule people to pray with you! Different retreat and gatherings may be happening but it doesn't get too busy, crowded, or uncomfortable if it is just two of you or a smaller group.
It was very nice place to unplug and unwind. The scenery is out of this world. Loved hiking on the trails to gain more views of the beauty around.
I attended a spiritual retreat here with other women from my church, City Harvest Family Church, Albany, NY. This was my 4th trip to Christ the King, and the 2nd time I've been lodged at the King's Inn. The rooms are very comfortable and there are plenty of extra pillows and blankets available if needed. What makes this place so very special are the folks who staff the facility. From check-in at the Welcome Center to the service staff at the Inn and the excellent chef and food servers, everyone is kind, helpful, and welcoming. The gathering room at the Inn is particularly special, with plenty of comfortable seats, rocking chairs, a partial kitchen for beverages and snacks, two convenient desks, tables to gather around... and a piano! The grounds are beautiful, particularly in the fall. There is no better place to spend some quiet time in the company of God and like-minded folks!
